About Sing & Learn

Sing & Learn is a highly engaging music-based approach to support children’s communication and language skills. The programme works primarily as a universal approach for all children to receive through adult-led group sessions with targeted small groups for children who would benefit from additional support.
 
Building on the way in which songs and singing are regularly embedded in daily routines in early years settings, Sing & Learn engages children in stories, rhymes and role play, harnessing that time and routine activity to deliver targeted improvements to the area of Communication and Language. It is designed for you to use flexibly to meet the needs of your children and setting - we know that as practitioners you are best placed to implement a creative and responsive approach to learning and development in early years, Sing & Learn is here for you as a high quality and effective resource.   
 
The Sing & Learn programme has been devised and developed by Musiko Musika with guidance from speech and language specialist Helen Ayres, and has been implemented in nurseries and children’s centres around the country as well as being well-used and loved by families at home.
