The overall aim of the ECCO (Ethnic Contemporary Classical Orchestras) is to catalyse and inspire social change and creative engagement with cultural diversity, giving artistic expression to families and communities.
About the ECCO
Established by Musiko Musika in 2009, and based at the Lyric Hammersmith, the ECCO is a project to create youth music ensembles that reflect the diversity and musical interests of the young players and their families. Rooted in, but not constrained by tradition, the ECCO is based on the concept of a classical orchestra but reaches far beyond it in terms of instrumentation, repertoire and approach. The parents and families of the young musicians are also directly involved in the project, having a key role in connecting the ECCO culturally to the diverse communities of the families.

ECCO Friend: suggested regular donation £5 or £10 per month (or single donation £60 or £120 per year)
ECCO Creative Friend: single donation of £50/ £100/ £400 (or choose your own amount), or make a regular monthly donation of £4/ £8/ £36 (or choose your own amount) to fund: new instruments & technology or workshops from inspirational guest tutors
ECCO Global Friend: single donation of £1,000 or above per year, or make a regular monthly donation of £84 or more
